I was intersted the plane and asked Keith for additional info and photos.  It won't fit in my Explorer.  Here is the info and one photo is attached.  The plane was Mike McConvilles back up TOC plane.  The engine alone is going for $800.00 on rcuniverse.  I'm bummed.....My only other choice was to pull a Georgio and strap it to the roof......My luck I would pull into the garage with it atop the car....

 

(From Keith) The plane has gyros on the rudder and elevator, should you choose to use them.  They are switchable from the transmitter.  It has two 9202's on each aileron, and the same on each elevator half.  It has two large 1/4 scale servos on the rudder.  Total servos counting the throttle are 11.  You can see the wing bags from the picture.

 

Here is what it needs:

1)  a good cleaning

2)  I believe it is covered in ultracoat, and the colors were still available about a year ago.  There are some spots that need to be ironed down, and a few minor patches needed at the tips of the elevators and wings from hangar rash. 

3) I have two new wheels that need to be installed

4) The wheelpants are pretty much shot.  I was planning to replace them with a pair of white pants, which would match the color scheme.

5) The batteries on the electronic ignition and receiver are kind of old .... I'll leave them in but would consider cycling them and they probably need replacement.

6) The engine should be started and checked.  It ran fine the last time I started it, but that was a while back.  If there is any work on the engine required, I will pay for it within reason. 

 

It is an older plane but always flew very well.  It has never been crashed.  Not a contest winner or a beauty, but you could have a ton of fun with it.  (Photo is attached to this email)
